Phil Mennona, CPA – Senior XBRL Compliance Manager
Phil serves as Rivet’s Senior XBRL Compliance Manager. In this role, Phil has consulted with public companies and their auditors over an array of SEC and XBRL compliance issues. Prior to this role, Phil served as a Subject Matter Expert for more than 50 of Rivet’s healthcare and service industry clients. Before joining Rivet, Phil gained more than ten years experience providing forensic accounting and consulting services in a wide variety of compliance areas including, civil and criminal securities litigation, FCPA investigations, and accounting restatements. Phil is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado and graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Richmond.

AICPA posts comments on “Exposure Draft – XBRL Principles and Criteria”Back in June 1, 2011 the AICPA released its “Exposure Draft – XBRL Principles and Criteria” and requested comments by July 15th. The “XBRL Principles and Criteria” document will help form a basis for understanding and measuring many aspects of data quality in XBRL-formatted documents. Comments on the Exposure Draft (including Rivet’s) have been posted.
